It is a park bench, the old wooden ones you almost never find, they are usually plastic and metal these days.
An up close photo, the darkness in the center should actually be gravel, but when i developed it it was too dark to make out each piece.
Another of my photo I pictures
*edit, i uploaded a smaller version so you can see the whole picture and not just parts of it.
Yay for Photo 1! Darkroom is definitely hard (I'm taking a Photo 1 class at my college), but you did a fine job on this print
I love how abstract it is, abstract pieces being my favorite kind to shoot. I couldn't tell what it was until I read your description, and even now I can't tell what it is (I think if it were smaller, maybe 900px wide so the full-view would fit on the screen, it would make it easier to see its details). Nice selective focusing too. This reminds me that I need to upload some of my Photo 1 pieces...
thank you so much i had the hardest time trying to find things to take pictures of for my photo 1 final project, i was taking pictures of just about everything trying to find something that came out interesting. I went through about 4 or 5 rolls of 36 exposures and only used like ten pictures. I'll resize it and if it looks better i'll probably do it to all of my b&w photos because they are really big.
Thanks again for the comment

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
